“Cruise” to the Rhody Parade
May 15th - Saturday

This is the Festival’s 75th anniversary – the “Diamond Jubilee” Let your imagination go..
wear your shiny glitzy outfits and funny big shade hats. Think Diamonds or shiny! Bring a flag
to wave.
You, family and friends are invited to the PTYC picnic and watching the parade. Of course it
will be sunny and warm…on our side of the street. The bands always play, the Color Guard
loves it when we stand as the flag passes and the politicians wave, make promises and throw
candy…
The details: Bring your chairs to the Anderson’s by Friday morning the 14th to reserve front
row seating on Lawrence Str. Saturday, we’ll picnic and party before the parade – starting at
noon. Hot dogs and dressings will be provided. Please bring your own drinks and ‘Finger’ food
to share. The parade starts at 1 PM.
We look forward to seeing you for the 75th annual Rhododendron Grand Parade. Remember,
guests and friends are welcome, always room for more at a parade!
